Dr Gerd Winter, PhD - editor & proprietor:

Gerd Winter is a biochemist with a PhD in tropical parasitology. He has worked as a researcher for almost 20 years in Australia and abroad, including the German Max-Planck Institute and the Swedish Karolinska Institute. He is currently a visiting academic at the University of Adelaide and is also working as a researcher and writer in Primary Health Care.

Dr Susannah Eliott, PhD - contributing editor:

Susannah Eliott has a PhD in science and a Postgraduate Diploma in journalism with more than 15 years of experience in science communication. She has also worked internationally for 6 years at the Royal Swedish Academy of Science, where she was a deputy director of the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme (IGBP). She is currently the chief executive officer of the Australian Science Media Centre in Adelaide.
